black screen with error message & games work then stop

I had a perfectly working modded wii until my kids inserted a wii fit and updated the system. from that point on all the backups stopped working. no problem. i switched the mod chip from that wii to another wii figuring that be the easiest solution since its the wiiclip a plug and play.
On the new mooded wii 60% of games dont work that worked previously. i get a black screen with an error message (error has occured...) Other games works for like 10 minutes then stops. When i reset the wii some games that didnt load before will in fact load. OR sometimes games plays fine without a problem.. Its acting tempermental. I dont get it. It seems there is some type of glitch which the wii catches then frezes up. I dont know whats causing it or how to fix it.

I am running version 3.2u. I cant seem to figure out whats going on.

What modchip is it, some people are saying the update is messing up the firmware on their modchips.

The wii fit should have updated you to a new system menu, like 4.2. All new games you have to play with care. The updates screw up modchips. can your wii clip be updated, like the firmware on it.
