Hi.... wondered if any of the people out there can help, all the channels have gone off again, but a factory reset hasnt worked this time,just like the other day, strange though my friends is still on, hes not too far away from me, but he is has SV3.
Bit odd, as all of the key codes had changed as well went it went off. Inputted the correct ones but no joy.
Im viirgin, nottingham if thats any help.
Thanks in advance if anyone can help, i can normally sort the problems out what ever comes a long by reading other peoples problems, but this is puzzling me at the mo.

if your friend is near and his box works so will yours,re check the codes and make sure your emu is switched on(menu,while on installation type in 1570 on your remote, and go down to emu and use the right arrow button on the remote to switch emu to on)hope this helps mate.

hello, can anyone help me.
I have the old starview box(the first ones which came out) and all the channels are gone. I have injected new keys in however, none of the channels are working. So is there a problem with the keys or something wrong with the box?

factory reset and a fresh auto scan usually fixes it and emu to on ,best to read other posts to get to know whats going on daily.

I did try that as my first port of call......
Finally got sorted... not too sure how tho , i think it was using `set default key` 2bh. What does that actually do when used?.
After logging off with A.D. last night, i just couldnt give up sorting it out, and was up til after 12.30.
The problem i found was in nagravision where the codes are,there was no provider ID for N*l at all, but 2 for Telepest,(how strange eh?) i tried manually to input hentyhells 54 01, but it just wouldnt save it at all,several times, even then i had to input all the codes manually, as they was all totally changed,and different to the ones on my mates box every one of them. Not sure why its not been any trouble until now.
Sorry for being so long-winded with it....many thanks to all the repliers for help.. keep up the good work you all do on here, its great reading everyday, and its always good to learn something from all your replies to the problems on here.

set default clears data the ones we cant talk about and when has auto roll firmware it will update.

Thanks for your interest in my problem, and your replies.
Just a couple of more questions for the experts on A.D.,so when i pressed `set default key` should it have updated the codes as well?, only i had to input every letter and number on both 00 and 01 lines.
And all the frequency changes whats happened recently, are they all to do with the change over to the `Dark Side`(N3)?.
Sorry for being a pain, but i do like to learn about stuff on A.D.....learn something new everyday and all that.... Many thanks again
