i got a wii for my family couple of years ago and got a wiikey when it first came out so its the original not version 2,
i want to know if its ok to update the wii and is there anything that can brick it or i need to know?

my wii is version 3.4E and i remember updating the wiikey, if the only update for is it is 1.9 then thats the one i have.
