Larry, is it possible to get just the txt portion of your guide posted? I don't need the files anymore, I just need to save your guide in case I need to do another Wii :(
I can't remember every single step.

Yes, it would be helpful. I had it bookmarked it and downloaded the files then went onto it today to install it all but the tut was gone :( I ha found one on youtube but it was different and so i have it partially done.

why dont u copy and paste it into a word document?
and then delete all the links and stuff u dont need?
thats what i did, so i didnt have to follow it from a web page works like a charm :-)
and then if for some reason my WII decides to die or so something stupid i can refer back to the steps i took to try and recover things :-)

i used the excellent guide a few weeks ago to successfully softmod a mates wii, and now i need the guide again. Why oh why didnt i save a copy for myself. If anybody does have a copy saved, could they please post it up

I typed a rough copy of a tutorial. wondering if anyone would like me to finish it with pictures and post it. if not then i wont bother doing anymore work then i have to. i have it saved in note form now so it will take me a few hours to take pictures and somehwhat properly write it out.
