According to new figures from the ARIA (Australian Recording Industry Association), the Australian music industry has seen growth for the first time since 2003. What the hell sold in Australia that was so noteworthy for these sales? Last time I checked, things looked bleak for the mates down under. This is good news for them, now what about here in the States? What's the rate here? - BLUEBOY

Yeah you must have missed the part about the Australian market being down like 30 per cent since 2003..... so this little increase does nothing to offset the huge losses that the industry has faced in Australia...

Piracy undermining the music market in Australia? At 1 billion tracks being illegally downloaded a year in Australia - you betcha.
