Ok first of im not sure what site im allowed to link to and tell about so ill call them something simple as X and Y. . . .
Anyhoo-.
Ive flashed my xbox and ive gotten alot of games on site named X. Burned them on cheap discs.
(everyone recommends Verbatim but i can get 3 ARITA for the price of one Verb. But thats not the real topic here., )

But with the games gotten on site X i can burn flawlessly on the first try everytime so far.... Thats about 15 games now... So thats good. . .

Then i got to site Y where they have many many more games to choose from and that are mostly online (links).
But 7 so far have failed at 50%. Layer change.
Now i know your thinking... that wouldnt happen with verbatim. But again not the issue... I just wanna figure out what the difference is between the iso files on site X and on site Y.

CAuse something must be different since 15 work perfect at first try then 7 fail everytime at layer change.

And i wanna figure this out for a couple of reasons.
Can i use the disc i do now ill spare some cash.
Can i figure out what the difference is, i can maybe go around those that dont work...

So yeah... its kinda messy.,.. But everything points in the direction that ripped/uploaded iso's on site X are done differently.

...........................................................
And btw... The iso's on site Y is reported to work, so its not just that they are bad iso's. ;)

Well hope someone gets what im asking and has a good idea about it or a good guess :D

Are you checking these ISOs with ABGX360 before burning?

yeah and seams fine as far as i can see. Only thing that might be is the Stealth fails with some, but im not online anyways. But that shouldnt mess the burn up.

Just to check, have you got ABGX set to fix/create a .dvd file? On one of the games that doesn't work, right click on the ISO file and left click edit. What does it say in notepad?

yes i use abgx360.-...

and am guessing you mean edit on the .dvd file and not .iso? since there is no such option...
But it says
LayerBreak=1913760
prototype.iso

Which im pretty sure is normal.. And it says the same with all others ... (the layer code that is)-
