I've just seen the problem you were right its the firmware I need 1.61 but I've got 1.6 wich is pre nov09 anything after that date needs 1.61 Ive got to pull my xbox apart again thanks for your help.

i'd hang fire there a bit wiidave22 i think you can circumnavigate that issue with the activate.iso disc. it just disables the security checks that ixtreme uses to verify the game rip.
