USB Loader stopped working suddenly - help!

Whenever I choose USB loader the screen comes up, I click start, and I get taken back to the main menu. I try it again and again but I keep being redirected to the main screen. I'm using a MS passport harddrive and the same USB interface...changed no hardware...nothing. Even was playing the thing 2 hours ago.

This happened a couple of times occasionally before but I could get around it by trying again and again. Now it does it every time.

I've just posted this in another thread....let me know if it helps

CFG USB loader has done that to me a couple of times. I turned off the power to the wii (unlugged completely) waited a few seconds then plugged back in. All was good.

Failing that, try re-installing.

Okay. After giving out the advice I too now have this problem.....!!

I have softmodded 5 wii's so far and last night I did my nephews. Followed the guide as normal but it is hit and miss whether CFG USB loader loads or not. Sometimes does and sometimes it doesn't and just takes me back to the wii menu. I would say it's about 50:50, all of the other wii's I have done don't have this problem

I KNOW it's NOT my memory stick as I was using my own that I have been using on my wii for the past 6 weeks almost flawlessly (Kingston 16gb).
I have installed the latest version of the USB loader from Larries updated guide in his sig which made thing a little more stable than the previous version but it still isn't great.

Any ideas?
