Hey everyone.. Longtime lurker, new poster here. I recently got an old xbox 360 (manufacture date 2005, never modded) with the Hitachi drive in it. I was lucky to have onboard SATA and was also amazed how easy it was to flash to the latest firmware, as far as i know, 1.51 for this drive. I've been doing a lot of reading and have made sure to stealth check as well as patch my DVD+R's to SSV2 when available/necessary.

My main question is I wanted to get some feedback from other 1.51 hitachi users concerning their Xbox Live status. Meaning if, you've had your console banned (and tried your best to have all stealth discs) or still have an active account. If so, how long have you been on Xbox live with the modded console? I haven't signed up for it yet but am strongly consider it. I know there will always be a risk of being banned, but I'm mostly interested hearing everyone's experience in this situation. Thanks!

I have a xbox on 1.51 that I use on live, havent been banned yet but I am expecting it. I have a friend who is running 1.51 on hitach on live also with no issue. Im guessing Im just lucky as most peeps I speak to have been banned.
