ok I'm totally new to modding. I have everything I need. I tried it earlier and I couldn't get it to work. I am installing .net framework 3.5 rite now. I didn't know for sure if my machine had it installed on it so I'm installing this. could you give me a brief tutorial on wat exactly to click in jungleflasher when I'm trying to spoof?

I did this earlier today.
Using Jungleflasher, connect up the ms25 first.
Click the MTK Flash 32 tab
Click Intro / Device ID to unlock the drive. You need to do this to read the firmware.
By clicking Read you can save the firmware then to your hard drive.
It will prompt you to load the iextreme firmware for the drive (do a search on here)
click yes to autoload, this will then open the Firmware Tool 32 tab, from here you can save the DVD key of the ms25.
For the ms 28 you have to :
Click the MTK Flash 32 tab
Click Sammy Unlock to unlock the drive.
Click Read you can save the firmware of the ms28 to your hard drive.
Again load the iextreme (recommend the 1.61) then you can source the ms25 key you saved earlier by clicking Open source firmware.
Then click Spoof source to Target to change the ms28 key to being the ms25 key.
Now click the MTK Flash 32 tab and click Write, to write the new info, dvd key and iextreme (if you loaded it) to the ms28.
I think this is right although the drive I used was already spoofed so it took a few other steps but I am sure than other people may help out anyway

I had my original drive modded by someone else and all the games worked in it... the one I modded today wouldn't play all the games. I use ixtreme 1.61.

If the games have been patched say from wave 4 to wave 3 they will not play on 1.61 .

Try run the discs that wont play through abgx and see if they are the correct wave!

well that explains it all because I burnt some wave 4 games for my pre-modded drive and they worked in this one. had some wave 3 games work in my new modded xbox, but the ones I patched to wave 3 didn't work. can I patch those back to wave 4?

do I need to d/l the wave 4 pfi and video files to patch it or is there a way to convert it back other than having those files? and also after I eject my disc tray after 3 or 4 seconds it goes back in by itself.

I just use wave patcher to patch them back to wave 4!

You tray probably isnt coming out far enough . Next time you eject it pull it a little when it stops and see if it comes out any further and stays out if you understand what i mean!

ok.. will try that and see if it helps. also does wave patcher need pfi and video files to patch it back to wave 4 or does it do it bt itself?

As far as im aware it does it mate but im not as fussed about getting banned as some others so i rarely even check the games i get .

Maybe have a read through the thread
