Hi Lads,

So I guess I want to know if this is possible? Where do I start? What do I need?

Have it working for 2 DM500s at the moment getting another couple on the way.

Thanks
Gary

My guess here is that you want to watch TV on your PC. Simply type the IP of your card server into your web browser and watch TV away. Its streamed directly from the dreambox to your PC via your broadband router. You will need VLC media player on your PC to watch the stream.

Oh right, that's pretty cool!!! If I want to control the chanels etc though I'd probably need an EyeTV though although they look pretty expensive!!!

http://store.apple.com/ie/product/TW128ZM/A?mco=MTQzOTQ5NzI

Combine that with:

Although I still haven't gotten a reply that that sw will work with my image.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with it and where can I get a cheaper EyeTV

Gary, i'm lost. what are you trying to do. there is a software remote control to change channels using the dreambox web interface so you don't need a remote control. is this what you want or not. if not what do you mean by 'lthough I still haven't gotten a reply that that sw will work with my image'. You have not specified what image you are using nor have you indicated what software you you are referring to

Hi, ya sorry about that, haven't had my coffee yet this morning!

Ya I'll give that sw remote a go so and see what happens.

The SW I was referring to was iDreamX from the link above, it says it works with Enigma1 & enigma2 boxes. I am using the nabilosat-enigma1-darkstar-ii with Cccam 2.1.3 on mt DM500 I presume it will work?

Now I'm looking at the sw more it doesnt seem to do what I thought it would do, I thought it would take a satelite signal in through eye tv or one of those and combine it with a shared cccam (locally) to give me all the channels, with a better interface maybe to allow me to record and all of that??
