RIPPING DVD FILES TO STREAM TO 360

hello. Please can somebody help me understand how this can be done. I have been looking all over and was told this was the best place to ask.

I want to be able to copy all my DVD's to my pc and stream them to my 360 using windows Media. I know how to do this.

I am finding it hard to understand how to copy .vob files or using DVD SHRINK 3.2.

Would sum1 post a simple step guide that i can follow.

What i have done so far is

open dvd shrink
click on edit, pref, output, removed checked split .vob files.
I then clicked on open disc
picked my dvd
it display all folders on dvd (DO I PICK ALL OF THEM?)
displays compression details (do i have to comprpess?)
then do i click BACKUP?

when i tried this it created a 2 folders called
audio-ts video-ts

however there are loads of .vob files inside these folders.

So i think i'm going wrong.

Is there a simple way to burn a dvd to the computer and stream it to the 360 using windows media centre. I want to burn about 500 dvd's so i can store them in my attick.

Any help from anybody who knows what they are doing would be great!..please remember to keep it simple but detailed!!!

use magic dvd ripper it converts dvd's to AVI's then use tversity to stream em to your xbox 360 or play them off of a usb HDD or a usb flash drive.

I use winAVI for my encoding to a .avi file and then use TVersity to steam same as modmyxbox.

I use DVD Shrink also... uncheck the break into 1 gig pieces. Select re author after opening the disk. Then select only the main title. Then set the compression to what ever you want. Rip it out.

After that I have added in MyMovies onto my media center for organizing the movies and automaticly getting cover art.
