Orite guys. I am interested in getting pdc world championship darts for the 360 and noticed the only rips out there are SSV1 and on abgx website it says the SS version is SSV1. As this is an old game is it safe to play on live with on litetouch.
I would personally not play any game without SSv2. We are not used to seeing SSv2 on older games only because 0800 firmware, which can read the additional information, came out later in the game. 0800 firmware will always output SSv2 files.
Like everything else with modding the 360, it's really up to you how you want to proceed. SSv2 play may not be wise, but there very well could be some other damning security feature from Microsoft that makes the point moot, and will cook everybody's bacon some other way in the next ban wave.
The only way I could see acquiring SSv2 of this game is to either post on many different 360 boards and see if anybody has it to share, or to make a rip of the game using an 0800 firmware DVD drive yourself. The latter is more easily said than done if you don't have the equipment, of course.

Yes, supposedly it is, because the angles got more complicated starting with wave 3, supposedly. However, I have not seen any really firm info on this, and I would rather play it safe and just get a good SS reading for every game.
