I can get onto the browser just fine, and see everything.
However when I want to download something new by pressing on the DL button, my wii just freezes.
I can not restart the wii with the controller, but once i do manually i have no problem returning to the browser.
Any clue how I can fix this thanks

Depending on the size of the download, the process may be interrupted at times; hence, causing the Wii to freeze. It is more practical to download the desired file using a PC, and then port it to SD card.

I do not think it has to do with the size of the download, because I used to be able to download everything.
However since I changed some stuff on my wii so that i could use the usb loader, and updated other stuff i can not download from the homebrew browser any more.
like I said I can see all the things to download, but once I click on the DL button, the wii just freezes and i have to restart the wii to do anything.
would just like to know if I can get it to work again, or should i just be content downloading through my PC
thanks

Those changes you mentioned won't have any real effects as to why you're having issues downloading apps from the Hombrew Browser. Are you sure you are connected to the internet?
