Google is just becoming an absolute monster, not saying its a bad thing. I'm just wondering why their founders are selling off such large blocks of their stock.
A monster in good hands is one thing, in the wrong hands its another.

Thanks for the tip, been watching said documentary, am up to the part where Enron Traders would literally ring up power plants and ask them to shut down the plants. And they just did it when asked. Unbelievable.
What gets me is all the talk in the news lately forewarning of supposed power outages, makes you wonder if this kind of thing will start happening again. Google are into way too many pies now, just the other day we had loads of news articles about Google working with the NSA, and we're getting all the news articles about alleged threats to cybersecurity, all at the same time that Google is having trouble with China and the US government are making lots of noise about Internet2...

I did, just in passing though, didn't know too many specifics, certainly didn't realise traders could just phone up the power plants and get half the state's power shutoff on a whim. Just finished watching it, quite an eye opener, especially how many people were affected by less people than we have fingers.
And is anyone still interested in having their power (and internet connection) provided by Google ?. Didn't think so :p
