I have Assassins Creed 2 that I would like to rip. I have tried the WXripper method and I get a "Game Data CRC Failed" when I check it with ABGX360. How do I properly backup an Xbox 360 game? I know about the Kreon drives already so I'm looking for another method such as connecting the Xbox 360 drive to PC. I have a Liteon drive flashed with iXtreme LT.

Rather than keep opening your xbox up to rip games just buy a benq drive off ebay and flash it with 0800 firmware.
Could you please elaborate on that? I have another Hitachi drive from an Xbox 360 that has a dead motherboard. Can I use that? Can I use my existing LiteOn drive or would I have to flash and then flash back?
