I just wanted to say thank you to everyone on here for the great posts. I was able to flash my very first drive (lieton) after reading many posts on here for so long. I wanted to make sure that I really knew what I was doing before I actually done it, so I have been reading for quite awhile. Well to make a long story short it took me all of about 3-5 minutes to do it and everything worked great. Thanks again and everyone have a great weekend.

same goes for me too!

i read many posts here for about a week and flashed my benq drive in about 5 minutes

AND TO THINK I WAS GOING TO PAY £40!!!

This a great forum and when I did my first Xbox flash it was because of the great and patient people that are on here who helped me out. Since then I've performed all types of repairs from the very hairy fixes to the not so hairy ones. I wish you well on your new journey.

"All drives should be updated to Lite Touch + (LT+) firmware if playing on XBOX live. Samsung drives and pre-78/79 Hitachi drives do not utilize AP 2.5. All other drives are considered to be detectable by Microsoft (YMMV). Make sure all rips are ABGX verified, contain SSv2, and patched AP2.5 (where needed). XGD3 must currently be burned on new drive with PC Burner Max firmware for 100% rip. All modded consoles can be potentially unsafe for use on XBOX live."

I learned everything I know re. XBOX 360, Wii, PSP & Iphone hacking. Not to metion the general PC advise from afterdawn.
