Hold down the sync button and push the eject button 4 times, that'll give you a 4 digit secondary error code to have more of an idea what's going on. If it shuts off immediately it sounds like you either damaged something, perhaps when taking off the x-clamps, or have a short somewhere, maybe one of the little metal prongs around the connectors or if there was poor previous soldering on something like a 12v fan mod or even repairing traces on a 93 & 83v2 liteon

yea 0003 is a power issue. So like i said it could be a short but it could also be something damaged. Did you slip when removing the x-clamps or maybe heat directly over the capacitors for an extended period of time? Check to see if the caps are bulging or leaking. What about the metal prongs around the connectors or maybe using metal washers on motherboard?

You could try the reflow again but it may not work. Cheapest option now that you have a heatgun would probably be get a rrod 360 from craigslist for $20-40, see if it has the "0102" error (most common 3 red) and that it hasn't been worked on before and do the x-clamp replacement and reflow both exactly like my tutorial and it should work. That's exactly what I did with one of my personal systems after I was banned in november :)

also, have you defo got 2 washer at the top & bottom (so 3mm gap each side)?

Does it do the same if you start the Mobo outside the cage?

Dont use 2 on the bottom side, if you leave the screw inside the chassis it creates too much upward flexing on the motherboard just like the x-clamp does. If you drill the chassis out then 2 is not enough to provide support. Try it like this instead:

w00ly if you drill though the metal case it's actually 4mm below the board and 2mm up top.

eh? I'm not arguing with him, I agree with him. You can see "flexing schematics after hybrid" that you posted shows 3 washers on the bottom and 2 on top, just like the picture on the right of the one I posted where I showed the screw going through the chassis. On the bottom pic too it says "the heatsink bolts are 4mm causing flex" and the pic shows the standoffs being 3mm (except old center ones that needed to be sanded which MS doesnt use any more).
