First of all, I know this must have been asked before, and I'm sorry I couldn't follow the older threads, which must exist. It's hard to search for it when both search terms have xbox in it (play xbox on xbox 360).
Okay, so with that said, I'm just a step better than a noob when it comes to Xbox 360. This is my first console (never had one as a kid), and I know how to backup and burn 360 games. Now, I want to play a Xbox 1 backup on 360, and I don't know how to do that. Is it even possible that it'll be easy? (as easy as burning 360 backups) I've googled and my impression is that back in the Xbox 1 days it was a lot more complicated than just burning. You have to link your pc to your xbox, blablabla. Maybe the method is different now, I don't know.
I have a non-stealth box (to play exclusively offline), no jtag. How would I go about doing this? Which media do I need to use? (Some say DVD-R, some say DVD+RorDVD-RorCD) Thanks!
Thanks for that. After seeing that I decided to refine my search to something like play "xbox 1" on "xbox 360" ixtreme (instead of xbox and xbox 360), and found that it involves a long process of re-ripping/building, etc etc. I wanted to play a game but I didn't want it that much. Fortunately I've found an iso that's already processed.
Here's the tutorial that I found though, for anyone interested.
