hi

i have 2 xbox 360s, an elite which is modified and an arcade which isent.

ive just joined xbox live on the arcade machiene, and im using the hardrivve from the elite to save my games. the question i have is can i use the points i generated from playing back up games online to purchase things or will this get me caught?

ive been told as long has the hard drive has no game saves for games which are not released yet i should be ok switching the hardrives. i just dont want to use the points if there is anyway off them being tracked to backed up games, rather then original.

What gaming reward points are you talking about? Achievement points or XBL credits you buy?


You can't buy anytihng with achievement points, but they will carry over and update on your profile the way your doing it.

XBL credit can buy games and DLC, but won't work on the Elite because it's not online and not the Xbox you bought them on.

so is the only way to buy things on xbox live to purchase xbl credits?? i had thought these and the achievement points were the same.

whats the best way to purchase these?? get best for your money etc.

You can find some good deals online, but when i say find its usally somthing you have to run across. If you get some of these games that come with DLC, like Fallout3 or Forza3 those will work on ether box. Trails alone is worth having a xbox online.
