WMP 12 Audio Sync problems.

Has anyone encountered this issue? I play an avi file with WMP 12 in Windows 7 and if I jump ahead in the video the audio is out of sync with the video. It seems to be only happening with WMP 12 and with divx/xvid encoded avi's and ac3 audio. This just seem to happen. I never noticed it before. Divx player, Nero Showtime, and VLC players have no problems playing the avi's.
Anyone have any ideas?
