Let me get this straight. All I have to do is read the firmware of the old benq, then hook up the new benq and flash with the firmware off the older one? thats it?

what if the only firmware on the old benq is 1.61? I don't have the orig.bin firmware when it was flashed ages ago. is that still okay. I can read the 1.61 fw off the old drive, and put that in the new one?

1) read FW off old drive, save file
2) hook up new drive and load saved file as source
3) load benQ ix FW as target and spoof source to target
4) write FW to drive and you done
