Remove letters from HD case?

Is there a simple way of doing this? I have a 250GB case that I just want to say "HD". I have a 60GB drive.

what do you mean? I don't want to remove the metal bezel, I want to remove the wiring. OH and this new mod to the site is annoying...

oh, didnt know thats what you meant. not sure on that, but i would just replace the metal part that inserts into the console itself. i think its all one unit and should just pop out. and i semi-agree with the change. its nice to have quick reply, but i dont like the layout of it. (prob should have been posted in feedback section, but ugh, oh well).

yeah and way too big. They should have use PHPBB3 lol. Plus the text doesn't even line up properly. Check marks on the quick reply go over the text. Anyway, I was hoping I could just erase the letters somehow. Maybe not?

oh, you cant simply remove those, they are etched in believe. best thing to do would be to just pop the silver thing off (its glued on) and get a custom one saying whatever youre looking off of ebay. you could probably sand the letters off, but it will more than likely look like a pile of dog crap.

There is an electro plating tool that does plastic badges on cars,i see no reason why it won't work on the 360,24 carat gold would look awsome
