Copy a DVD and play on my stand alone TV DVD player

I have made copies of my personal DVD's and they play well on my computer DVD R/W player but they will not play on my TV's DVD player, any help out there and thanks.

Well if these DVD"s were created Properly then they should play that is if your DVD Player supports DVD-/+R"s because lots of older Players do not support burnt DVD"s.....
Go to the Guides section and there are guides on backing up DVD"s useing freeware programs Like DVD Shrink and they should play on all newer DVD Players(within the last 3 years)....
