I need assistance on running emulators/roms on my system. I have the homebrew channel, & I run my Wii games from my external hard drive through Neogamma. I have all the roms I need (Nes, Sega, SNES, N64), I just need the proper assistance (or link, which I'm sure is already available) as to how I need to put the folders on the external, which emulators I need & where I need to put them on the external, in order to run on the Wii. A lot of people have mentioned using an SD Card, but I've heard that it could be done using an external (which I'd prefer, since I already have an external with plenty of space), & also from a DVD-R. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

UPDATE:

Ok, I've been doing a little researching, & I've downloaded the proper emulators, made the proper subfolders, & placed both the roms/emulators in the apps folder, which is located on my external hard drive. I went to the homebrew channel, & there's nothing happening. All I can do is pop bubbles lol. Did I miss something? Again, any help would be greatly appreciated!

first, the hard drive must have a FAT32 partition for apps to be detected with HBC.

second, make sure HBC is updated to 1.0.6. then press 1 to bring up the settings menu.

Yes, the hard drive has the partition, and I do have HBC 1.0.6. When I bring up the menu in homebrew, I select USB Drive, & nothing happens. As stated before, I have the emulators in the apps folder on the hard drive, but it's not reading for some reason. Maybe I missed something?

is the FAT32 partition marked as active? i have no problems loading off my hard drive, and it has FAT32/NTFS/WBFS partitions, with the FAT32 as the active one.
