hello ive been wondering if its okay if i play online with ixtreme 1.61. i stealth patch all my games and they have ssv2. ive been hearing that microsoft can tell if you have 1.61 firmware dats y

Its not sale, thats the whole point of lite touch, its almost identical to the original firmware.

The whole point of Ixtreme LT was to remove all/most possible detection routines from the xbox prevent detection. Since LT is 99% accurate to the original, its difficult to detect, they only need to download a copy of LT, rip it apart see whats what.. patch it and whoop ban...
Chances are if you patch your games accordingly you wont get banned.
Although my Modern warfare 2 backup isnt stealth patched i havent been banned yet but not overly bothered.
Just update to Ixtreme LT and then hope for the best.
1.6 will get you banned in good time..UPDATE!

personally I dont feel firmware is detectable, I think it has to do with the games.I had a 360 here with a bad drive and got a replacement flashed it wit ix1.6 and have been playing on live since June but only played originals with it. Thats JMO

I agree to a point. there are several detection methods that they use.
You can get flagged for banning but doesnt mean your gonna get banned just yet.
It's hit and miss but somepeople just get lucky

Personally, I havent been flagged yet on 2 sammy boxs running 1.61. Though, I guess its the luck of the draw.. survived the ban wave too.

How can you tell if you have been flagged? Its Flagged on Microsofts system but preparing to ban you if you have been flagged. You wouldnt possibly know

You could use xval v2.0 by redline99 to see if your secdata is clean, also you can phone microsoft to request a repair and if they decline the request that can mean your flagged for a banning.
