i have downloaded debian linux and am confused it keeps talking about eds live cd and i thought it came with it and ya so i fowlled these instructions and am jest confuesed this is the link

what part are you confused on? Or is all of it confusing? :P
ask me some specifics and I'll try and walk you through it. We can use PM if you'd like.
I have never used Ed's debian, but I'm pretty (ok, somewhat) familiar with gentoox, so i should be able to help you figure it out.
I've been thinking about putting a version of debian on my box just to see if I like it better than gentoox. Maybe I will and we can kinda walk through it together.
