Hi, total noob here but I'm sincerely interested in adequately acquainting myself with the ins and outs of this. Just softmodded my 4.2 Wii the other day following a youtube guide step by step and have been tinkering with it ever since. I've got a couple of questions.
Firstly, now that all the programs I want are on my Wii, which files must I keep on the SD card? (I want to know how much room I can make for roms)
Right now I have the following folders and files -
apps - can i get rid of 'miospatcher' 'wad manager 15' the cioscorp installers, and the dvdx installer now that i've used them? i'd ideally just like to have neogamma and my emulators when i open HBC.
then i have a bootmii folder. i understand that bootmii is not as powerful now that 4.2 has fixed the boot2 hack, so do i still need it at all? if it can still be used effectively, please explain how to do so. i've not yet backed up my NAND. Also, is bootmii to be used in conjunction with a preloader now? i don't have one yet so any general information about this will be greatly appreciated.
now that i've installed cioscorp, can i get rid of all the WADs in my cioscoprv3.5extra and corpv3.5M folders? i also have a folder with a USB loader WAD in it that I'd like to chuck if I can.
lastly, in the usb-loader folder, i've noticed they have every cover ever and i can make a bit of room getting rid of some. I also noticed they have an mp3 in a folder that's quite large. is this the background music for the program? can i replace it with any song i want?
All helpful responses will be greatly and sincerely appreciated.
