whats so great about lt benq firmware?

i use iextreme 1.6. with my benq 360 drive. i have noticed alot of excitement over the latest firmware from team jungle.... lite touch benq firmware

can someone tell me whats so great about it compared to what i already have?

It's the safest for LIVE all other firmware is unsafe for LIVE.

You also won't need to use a boot disc to play newer games.

LT was new code. They made it more like stock firmware (safer) but you can played burned games.

It also has full disc stealth, whereas 1.4 non-stealth is non-stealth

As stated in the text info of the BenQ LT release.

- Totally re-written code optimised for minimal patching
- Whole banks of firware now untouched (definite LIVE plus)
- New Drive response timing engine accurately mimics original drive timings (another LIVE plus)
- Full disc stealth used by default
- Waveless booting , disc images are assumed to be correct!
- Split-Vid used as default

Note: ALL features above provide better and safer LIVE playability. This is what makes LT the best version of iXtreme to have on your drive.
