Hello all,
I purchased what is called VIA VT6421A sata card to flash xbox360
I have waited 2 weeks for this bloomen card to come from china....

When I opened the box all excited I could not see the brand name via (as on other cards) the card i have is a promise "see link below" as they have this card listed as VIA VT6421A! is this the wrong card (see link)??? Have I been Riped off or can I still use this card to flash a toshiba ms28 if so does anyone have a tutorial? Thank you so much for helping me with my first flash.......

hi sgrew

i think the best thing to do is install the card and check the hardware manager to see how it is identified once fitted. My pci card doesn't outwardly display the via chipset logo but it is deffo on the sata pci card as i've flashed many an xbox with it.

+1, mines similiar but you can see Via on my chipset. Just try it and see.

Hey all, I have had no luck i was up all night last night trying to get the dam thing to work it wont seem to accept any via drivers (it auto installed promise sata console scsi processor, windows promise sata150 tx2plus (tm) ide controller and promise raid console scsi processor device...........Im truley at a loss of what to do? it just wont detect the drive (jungle flasher)......if anyone knows of this card please help me i beg you, im about to cry........

im not sure but i think that JF doesn't like raid setups, there was another post a while ago about someone with a raid array and they had to use another pc to flash their 360.

are you sure your system is in a raid array or does it just support raid / scsi set ups?

Im not to sure of what you mean by raid aray? do you know how i can find out? i think im loosing it :-{

You need to rename or remove the drivers in c:\windows\system32\etc\drivers if I remember.

Use Jungleflasher and follow the tut
