just a question if you pay for the basic channels would you then be able to see all other channels that are not part of the basic package.

you wont receive full package unless you pay for it or have the appropiate box for instance if you are on mmds you will need a t boxthe box t/ eurovox t or digivox t you will then need to install software on the box to view all channels now with the introduction of nagra 3 these boxes will be useless very soon anyway,if you are on cable forget it as nag 3 rendered these useless already,my advice to you is have a look at the thread Starview 6 Futureproof ? (page: 1 2 3 ... last) and judge for yourself
