After being bombarded by PM's from new members asking how to burn games i decided to post this super noob friendly guide.
I know there are plenty of thread regarding this subject but a few people seem to have trouble following detailed guides so here's a nice easy one just for them ;)

Things you will need
An xbox 360 with ixtreme firmware
Abgx360 1.0.2 (the latest one at time of posting)
Imgburn or Clonecd
A blank DVD+R DL (a good brand like verbs of course)

1:Run the game through latest abgx360 to fix and verify the iso and create the .dvd file.

2:Open imgburn or clonecd and select write image file to disc.

3:Set the speed at 2.4x and select the .dvd file not the .iso file, also you may want to tick verify.

4:Hit the start button.

5:Run the disk through abgx to make sure you got a good burn.

6:Play the game.

When you run the iso through Abgx360 1.0.2, if it's wave 5 or 6 you will get:
Video partition found
Checking Video padding... Video is zero padded
Video CRC = A06010A3 (V0 = A26E53B6, V1 = EAE76B94)
Video partition does not match known data (could be corrupt or a new wave not
seen before)

Don't worry thats normal as Abgx360 1.0.2 does not recognize waves 5 and 6 without a custom mod (get the mod here http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-152/...ate_mod-834705/ ), but as long as it's in the database it will still verify and be safe for live.
Wave 3 and up games ideally need to be ssv2 and have valid splitvid to be safe for live, here is a guide to patch ssv1 games to ssv2 http://paste2.org/p/635626

Wave 1 and 2 are fine with ssv1 but ssv2 is preferred.

you should have left out the abgx part only because people will ask about ssv2 and the unofficial update to it. otherwise... i can't believe people are bombarding you about burning games. seems likes it's been killed to death on these here boards.

nice work though :)

Seems like my idiot-proof guide did not work. I guess I need to make a you-know-what guide.
