I had a drive that would not accept the discs, it has turned out to be the logic drive at fault as I got a new one but now it taking the discs and spinning. I have read that it is because they are paired. Does anyone know how to remove this pairing or even where to find a compatible logic board. Its details are below

Can't say for sure, but I have heard that on some models, this pairing can be removed by formating the hard drive with a PC, while the battery is removed from the PS3 and the PS3 is unplugged. I know this does not work on all models, but I don't have the ambition to make up a chart of what systems it may or may not work on.
