my wii won't play any disc's its giving me a "can't read disc" error message any ways to fix this?

haven't modded or hacked the wii in any way has offical firmware newest version. not sure what cios is

how do you know its the newest version launch ur wii menu and go options and look up the top corner it will have the version

cios is well from what i understand allowes the apps to use the usb slots and play other disks
