what's taking so long for the updated version to come out?
is he working on it or is it officially dead?
it only supports up to wave 4 so i have about 20 wave 5&6 games sitting here and taking up my hd space.
i know there is an unofficial mod that supports wave 5 and up but i don't really trust unofficial versions.
is there any word on this or am i missing something

I think it's getting increasingly challenging to keep up with all the waves/changes. Give it a bit more time as I'm sure the program itself is trying to take into account things we are speculating about. The ABGX website is constantly being updated, so ABGX is certainly not dead or going anywhere soon.

"All drives should be updated to Lite Touch + (LT+) firmware if playing on XBOX live. Samsung drives and pre-78/79 Hitachi drives do not utilize AP 2.5. All other drives are considered to be detectable by Microsoft (YMMV). Make sure all rips are ABGX verified, contain SSv2, and patched AP2.5 (where needed). XGD3 must currently be burned on new drive with PC Burner Max firmware for 100% rip. All modded consoles can be potentially unsafe for use on XBOX live."

The current version of abgx360 (even without using the mod) can verify wave 5 and 6 games just fine, so I don't know what you're waiting for.

what do you mean?
i thought current version supports up to wave 4 only.
wave 5 and up games will show some warning/error messages saying unknown video partition or whatever.

What do I mean? What I said. The current version can verify wave 5 and 6 games just fine. It can't autofix wave 5 and 6 games if there is a problem with the video partition, but the video partition is the least likely thing to be messed up as it's always the same from game to game (different waves aside).

We went through this exact same thing with abgx360 1.0.1 and wave 4 games and people kept asking the same question over and over again. The error message you get about the video partition is irrelevant as long as at the bottom of the log, all the CRCs match and it says "Stealth check passed!". That was true of 1.0.1 and wave 4 games and it's true of 1.0.2 and wave 5/6 games.

but that's not true.
i downloaded a wave 4 games (modern warfare 2) and it had corrupt video partition and i had to download the wave 4 video iso and had to use agbx360 to fix it.
if abgx360 didn't support wave 4, i probably just played it online and got banned sooner or later.
and the fact that the current abgx 360 doesn't support wave 5 and up still stands.

Yes it is. You just don't seem capable of reading what I actually type. You're probably downloading games from n00b sites like xbox360iso if you're getting corrupt video partitions in games, but either way, abgx360 is perfectly capable of verifying all games, including waves 5 and 6. It is not capable of autofixing a wave 5/6 ISO if there is a problem with the video file (and there won't be if you stick to scene releases), but I said that in my previous reply. Even if there is a problem with the video file, you can tell that from the CRC as every wave 5 game has the same video CRC, as does every wave 6, so if some n00b has patched it or whatever, you can do a manual fix and then verify the game with abgx360.
