Been a long time since i last backup a 360 game. (2 year)

Had a look round the forum for a tut on backing up 360 games with a kreon drive. But every tut i found seem to link to dead guides. Does any one have a guide on how to backup games using a Kreon drive.

your best off using a 360 drive with 0800 firmware on it.

are they better? as i already have the kreon drive from when i had my first xbox360

The 0800 drives rip the games with ssv2 which is needed for being safer on live where as the kreon drives only rip ssv1 which is considered unsafe for live.

The 0800 drives gives a rip closer to 1:1

doesnt that then mean i have to keep opening the 360 case to backup a game.

Or get a cheap benq drive off ebay and flash it with 0800 firmware.
