hey guys, im looking to buy a jtagged ixtreme LT installed 360 and i have a couple of q's. i've searched the forums, and have yet to come across any clear cut answers; or some that don't contradict each other.
would any of you mind answering a couple of questions?
1) is there a way to update the dashboard to microsoft's latest while still maintaining the jtag's functionality? or can you never update again? i realize you can't update before the jtag, but after?
2) with all the ways to load games from an external (the "2god" programs, xbox image browser, etc) what's the newest and most sufficient? preferably one that forwards to the external from the 360 menu itself (where demos are played)
3) can the newest games (such as assassin's creed 2, which is one of the games that had a system update that destroyed jtagability) be played without updating? from what i understand XeXloader is involved
4) is live also completely out of the question on a jtagged box?

1) when you jtag it updates dash to 8955 which is basically the newest one
2) yes, if you use quickboot it will add the game to your recently played library.
3) any game can be played without updating, you would simply delete the system update folder before putting it onto your hard drive. see here on how to put games on a hard drive to play them.
4) jtag consoles usually last about 4 hours on live. however, if you feel like buying unused unbanned kv.bins then you can reflash your console and go back online.

I though you could only do this with a chip, how do you do it with a jtagged box?
most of it is done via flash 360. just use it to extract the kv_dec then inject that into the new xbr.bin and reflash from what i was told the other day. not sure if thats exactly how to do it or if i missed a couple steps, but it can be redone without the infectus as flash360 somehow changes the cpu key.
