Sky has purchased 15,000 3D televisions from LG Electronics and plans to install them in pubs around the country to promote its 3D broadcasts. Back in January, Sky broadcast a Barclays Premier League match between Arsenal and Manchester United and held screenings of the event in nine pubs to show off the technology. update please, LG haev denied they are directly selling to sky, but to the third party, where pubs can choose to buy them... i dont see it happening :(

Can someone enlighten me here? What is the sense of 3d televisions if you have to use the glasses anyway.

I can buy a 3d movie for my regular tv and watch the 3d movie with glasses also.

Since when? personally this is the second time someone said that and i think u are misslead or i am...
From what i know no 3D movies has been able to be wacth on regular tvs With or without glasses
