Alright, i tried searching, but I don't really know what I'm looking for.


I bought a rrod xbox to try doing the xclamp fix. Turns out the guy I bought it from already tried fixing it and screwed it up. He didn't use nylon washers between the screws and basicly cut up the motherboard while trying to tighten the screws.

So now it's beyond repair. Atleast I got some spare parts now.

I'm wondering if there is any reason to keep this board or should I just throw it away. Is there a way I could use the keys for this board to replace the ones on a banned console?

You maybe able to repair the traces of the board. Take some pics for us to look at the damage.

You need to be able to turn the console on to get a NAND Dump (I think - someone will correct me if im wrong), so you couldnt get the keys off it.
