Hi. I am not new to burning xbox 360 games. Here is my problem. I am trying to burn a few games, the same way I have done for years for xbox games. Now, I am using IMGBurn, at 2.4x speed to burn, as I do all my games. I am using an NTSC Xbox 360, as I am Canadian. I was using TDK brand discs. I have gone through 3 discs burning the 1, and 5 burning the other. I thought maybe it was my burner the first time, but it's brand new, so I tried another brand new burner to no luck. So I tried my old burner just rule out the problem...no luck. I thought maybe it was the discs, so I bought Fuji's, which I use all the time, and the same problem. I have tried ALL the discs on 3 different xbox's, and they all say PLAY DVD, or OPEN TRAY! Any idea's? I am running windows 7 X64, and have had no problems in the future burning games. I have the most recent firmware installed on my 360's as well. I have also tried burning in windows xp home, but the same problem. COuld it be a setting in IMGBurn, or something? I have the burn log, if that helps, for people to view.

I love how, whenever someone posts an xbox 360 burning issue on a forums site, someone ALWAYS responds back, tell them the issue is because they are NOT using VERBATIM discs!! I've tried 2 VERBATIM discs, and had the same issue. It's the first time I have EVER used VERBATIM discs for burning 360 games. I have always used FUJI's, and never had a problem. SO, when people say that it's the discs I am using that is the issue, it's BS!

When you select the file to burn are you selecting the .dvd file?
P.S. i agree, whenever there is a problem with burns it's always "use verbs"
I use arita as my main choice not one bad burn out of over a hundred and games i burnt 2 years ago still boot no problems.

Yes, but if I choose the wrong file, IMGBurn will put the right one in. I am going to burn an old game I have on fiel, and see if it plays.
Here is a link to my log file of all the burns: http://pastebin.com/szd1K1Ri
