benq drive only playing certain games :S

I seem to be having problems with 2 benq drives that I've flashed with LT and 1.61 w/boot disk. Flash properties come back fine in Jungleflasher and games check out with abgx360. Burning at 2x sometimes 4x with imgburn layer break and booktype set right and everything I'm not new to flashing, done it several times on several drives including benqs but this arcade I got after flashing won't play certain games it'll play some backups fine e.g need for speed, rockband 2, COD MW2 single player, and my original copies but most backups freeze at the same point each time. So I bought I replacement benq flashed it with the drive key spoofed and what do ya know same thing happening I've went through about 30 verbs and they ain't cheap so hopefully someone out there can help me :S I've tried looking on google but haven't found an answer yet. SOMEONE HELP PLEAZ thanks XD

What type of DVD burner do you have? Have you checked to see if it has any kind of firmware updates?

Maybe try burning at a higher speed than 4x.
