So, I got my jtag up and running, and I love it so far, but I've noticed a few things that I need some help with.
1) I can not turn on the 360 with a controller. If I do, the 360 just boots with a red ring and I have to turn it off. I can only turn it on with the button on the console.
2) I can only sync controllers with the 360 while the initial 360 logo is on the screen. Once it gets to the dash, pushing the sync button on the 360 has no effect at all. The lights don't spin around on the front.
3) My avatar picture is just a outline. Where do I get the need files and where do they go on the HDD to be able to see my avatar and change his outfit?

I am already on dashboard 8955. My problem is it was updated with out a HDD connected to it at the time, and I have all the NXE stuff but none of the avatar stuff. I have searched around all over and I can not find how to get the avatar stuff on my HDD. Right now, it just shows the black outline for my avatar instead of showing it completely, and if I got to edit it it says you need a update from live. Even putting the latest update on a pendrive and plugging it in doesn't do anything.
EDIT: I got it by putting my HDD onto another console and getting it that way.

I was just trying to say that is would neot except the update thru USB at all, even tho I've had the update on the same pendrive and use it to update consoles at work all the time. Not sure why, but it seems to be working fine now that I plugged it into a legit live enabled xbox.
