Toshiba/Sony/& IBM, are looking at the way we watch Tv.Just think of a Tv with over 15 Tuners built in to it/Real time 2D-3D video 2ooHz processing. For this to look great,u must have a up to date flat screen type with a all new 4,608 Led/Lcd Panal backlite.
The Tv will be power by a new Cell Broadband engine Superchip also support full HD.Freeview & Full Freesat too + Ethernet & handle Project Cavas & most home media as well Pvr/kira 2 LED Backlite. it should handle up to 240Hz 2D & up to 120 Frame in view of the all new 3D/Shutter grasses. Storage of the TV should be able to hold up to over
3Tb Hard drive also a upscaling engine Cell 3.2GHz (HD to3,840x2,160p)resolution & will make SD look like more like looking at HD.This would be great to look at.And will make utube web page look like SD on the Tv.It will have search engine/Roamining Navigation as well. it will come under the name > Cell Regza from JAPAN. The original Cell that came out a while ago was a bit to dear for the UK. Market cost around £10,000 for it & i don't think not a lot could afford it at that price. There could be a Cell Media type box on the market as well as the TVs with the same spec.by the end of the year or so.
IT will i think be still be out of the way for most people to buy ,till it get a lot
cheaper.IT depends on the Broadcaster to take up this type of Media, it won't be cheap for them. with Fibre-Optic on the move in the UK.& Ireland it should work a treat with the Provider in the near future with this media & a very good LED/Tv.3D.
