ive been trying to burn an xbox 360 game with no luck. i have xbox360 ss merger 1.7 and clone cd but cannot figure how to use them and dont know if the game im trying to burn is patched or not the game is in rar form but dont know what to do. very new to this someone please help.
Unrar using either winzip or winrar(assumption windoz platform...poor lad)
this should produce a .iso file with perhaps some .txt files donting files and scene crap.
Download xbgx360 and xbox backup creator from xbins, run abgx360 over the .iso file, ensure it verifies ok.
Once verified, write (select) the .dvd file that xbgx360 produces with xbc onto a dual layer disk.
Two things here, your xbox 360dvd needs its firmware replaced with ixtreme lt and you need either a xbox dvd drive in your pc with 0800 firmware on it or if you plan not to use live, use a samsung d160 i think dvd drive with kreon firmware.
Even thou this firmware can't read the angles correctly with 4th and above gen waves, it still works. But if you want true stealth (less chance of getting banned on live), get another 360 dvd and flash with 0800 and install into your pc...good luck...

2:run the iso through abgx360 1.02 to fix the stealth and create/fix the .dvd file if need be. http://abgx360.net/verified.php 3:start clonecd or imgburn and select burn image to disc (imgburn is the better of the 2 and is a free programme)
4:selct the .dvd file NOT the iso.
5:select 2.4x for burning speed
6:click start and go do something else for about 40 mins.
7:when it's finished play the game and enjoy.

SIC says not to select the .ISO file but IMO if you set the layer break yourself it is more efficient and it ensures the break is in the game properly...so long as you set it right.

wich one is the imo file and how do i set the layerbreak? tried the first instructions twice and it completed the burn but my xbox tells me to clean the disc on each one.

If it's telling you to clean the disc then you are more than likely using cheapo nasty media, get verbatim or arita, i find that these 2 brands are the best when it comes to burning 360 games ;)
