Phoenix Nights Split to 2 DVDR - How Do I keep menu for the second disk

Could someone please help with this problem. I have split phoenix nights (consists of 6 seperate episodes plus extras Movie files, all in vts_02_1.vob to vts_02_6.vob) to 2 directorys using ifoedit 0.932, then copied video_ts.ifo,bup and vts_01_0.ifo,bup also vts_01_1.vob to the relevant directorys.
Menu is in vts_02_0.vob which is again copied to both directorys.

I can play the first DVD using dVDplay in Ifoedit and use the menu, but if I try to play the second DVD it comes up with illegal navigation or unable to get chapters.

Please Help if anyone has had success splitting this DVD.
