Hi, Just turned my starview 3 on this morning and all other channels are working , except for sky sports 1 in which i just get a blank screen. But, i want to watch the manchester united match later... has anyone else got this problem or got a solution.

I don't really want to do a rescan while all the other channels are working as i dont want to risk loseing them. I am trying to get every last minutes use out of the box.

All help much appreciated.

Hi, I've woken to the same problem with sky sports 1 so I tried a factory reset and then rescanning but could only find about a dozen useless channels. I restored a previous backup of my channels but now when I switch emu on in the parental control menu aswell as menu lock the channels wont descramble. I am using a starview the box pvr. Any ideas?

When I turn over to a channel which needs descrambled I get a message: INFO Wait for picture...(1%)

But the percentage just remains at 1% and doesn't change.

Reset, Remove any splitters you may be using and in the CAS menu (1570 and enter) press the defualt key and then exit to SS1 and let it update.

And using an old chan file wont work either as they have moved them

Firstly thanks for the help. When I am in the CAS menu pressing 1570 doesn't do anything. I have already switched the autoupdate option to on. Then within system setup I have changed Menu Lock to on. I managed to find all of the channels again by doing an advanced scan so the only problem I have left is the channels not descrambling. It is probably something obvious/stupid but it has been so long since I have had any problems with my box that I have probably forgotten something very basic. Thanks again.

No. I am in glasgow. I have managed to narrow it down to it being the autoupdate that isn't working. Not sure why though. I entered the keys manually and i am getting all channels again. But I haven't had the experience of having to enter keys manually since before last xmas. How often do they change them? If I can get the autoupdate working again I'll be sorted :)
