Thanks for the update JP. I'm not sure what the buzz is about a solderless tool though. It really isn't that hard to solder. I wasn't big on soldering but after the release of the JTAG hack, I thought I'd give it a go. Watched a couple of videos and read up on the materials and honestly it isn't that hard.
I'm hoping for those who don't want to solder, that this tool will be fairly cheap. I don't know how much resources it will take but could cost the end user a pretty penny.

I will buy this as all I want is to uncripple my HDD, I cant jtag it. So I will buy this.

This will be an addition to the NAND-X device so you'll have to purchase that too.
