just looking into this layerbreak and on someone on a forum said 'Yes, for X360 games the layer break must be at 1,913,760 sectors; however, if you burnt the image from the .dvd file (as you should ) then that file told ImgBurn to set the layer break at 1,913,760 (open the .dvd file in Notepad and you'll see ). ' so the .dvd sets it?

well you should always scan the entire game and when you scan you should choose the .iso file and when abgx checks it it will say ".dvd is valid" at the top
if there is no .dvd abgx will create one that fits your game

ok, problem again, borderlands, checked with abgx360 it downloaded some things and seemed to be ok with the layerbreak in the .dvd file..... it says its wave 3! so all i get is the xbox making some weird noises and then after trying to read it then keeps saying 'open tray'
:-(

Mine does that click open tray on the controller and close it using the controller it works usually on first try. Also if i were you delete the .dvd file go into the settings on IMGburn and Under teh WRITE tab will be the Layer break for L0 set it to 1913760 always check this when you burn games as it every now and again will UNSET itself for reasons unknown. This will make DAMN SURE! that the layer break is proper. Also just a tip run each game through ABGX twice to make sure all the patches and stuff were put in and it checks out fine.

In the end Verbatims are better but i know for a 100% fact any dual layer disk will work no matter what. The reason verbatims are better is because the company is still in singapore and has never been outsourced making every single disk exactly the same. I say try the cheaper brand but i would suggest verbs to be safe and have a better chance of not eating a disk up.
