Says ESPN of the new features:

I tried the website and ran some video was quite impressive but i would love to see HD so hopefully they will implement this as a standard feature in the near future. Needs to have 16:9 ratio too as well love that feature.
HD would be an excellent feature no doubt, but what if you are trying to use the site from a less than stellar internet connection (cough cough, my shoe store), with less than stellar connection speed? having the option would be awesome, but also having a 'standard' video playback that wont bog down the server and won't keep me from enjoying live feeds of foxy boxing in Germany.
the gentlemen's website NaughtyAmerica has this feature for their videos and the quality the user chooses greatly affects how long it takes to load playback AND skip forward.
