I tried to connect my 40 gb ps3 to the net through wifi but it keeps giving me an error that the connection could not be established and the error no. is 80130804. It detects my router(Siemens Gigaset SE568) but at the final step says that the connection failed. It works perfectly with the ethernet wire. Please help.

The PS3 see's it, so thats good. Sounds like the WIFI router is Firewalling the PS3. You may have to set the PS3 IP manualy and add the PS3 IP to an "accepted" list on the WIFI router.

Since the time I bought the router I had enabled a filter which allowed only my pc and my brother's laptop to make connections with it by recognizing it's physical address. I added the ps3's address to the filter now and switched off the firewall but it's still not working. Should I take it to a service center? And should I change the firewall settings from the pc or the router?
